Why French? but why Julia?

Well I'm not a fan of French or Paris or a parisian wannabe or the romance or whatever, but to answer this question, I think I'll go first with the fact that I really love BUTTER. Use it in most of my food since day-1. Le late Mom loved unsalted butter for her morning bread with apple and so did her kids, then I only have butter in my fridge as the main fat once and for all. I even use butter for my Bok Choy oyster sauce or even my Indonesian fried rice and noodles. Secondly, I think because - unintentionally - I often go to french restaurants either solely to eat or eating-just-to-ease-my-mind-alone. Be it anywhere, a restaurant, a pattiserie or boulangerie. During the '90s era, le late Mom also often took me to a "brasserie" in Jakarta, Indonesia every weekend - and I love it so much, again because so buttery. I also a fan of my friend's homemade buttery pastry (I will post the review anytime soon). Having read the two main reasons, contemplating for some times and to connect the dot, it is finally concluded that I'm very convenient and comfortable with French cuisine.
OK, I like French cuisine but why Julia Child instead of e.g. Alain Ducasse or Guy Savoy? Oh dear, I'm not a commercial/professional/career cook. I cook for my own happiness and to make my skinny husband a bit fat. Julia Child is like a teacher who speaks through her book to all amateurs without "servant" at home. Isn't it heartwarming to read the foreword of her book? my heart is full. To be brutally honest, I need someone who's able to facilitate the complicated French cooking techniques in my humble kitchen. Who else can do that? yep the famous American house-wife who also a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. Even so, and please take note on this, Indonesian cooking is more complicated LOL.
Anyway, in the current circumstances with the pandemic so on and so forth, I need to keep my family healthy while simultaneously indulging my taste buds. Actually been a fan of her for years and have tried several recipes, but I want to be serious this time because I stay at and work from home - smh. To further quote (again): "....the enjoyment of producing something wonderful to eat". Indeed, producing something wonderful to eat makes me happy and absolutely makes me forget about Candy Crush Saga and the Sims. For the past 6 years I've been posting my reviews of restaurants in a restaurant apps. Now, my restaurant reviews will also be uploaded here, bc I planned to dedicate this website for gastronomique purposes. In addition, prolly can be considered as the third, is that I have a super cute French bulldog named Gizmo LOL. No, not related, have a good day.
